Tu Cheng desk · Taipei work

Between the folders you keep and the week you still have to run.

FileBridge Base is a business consulting studio that trains operators to make files speak: who owns a decision, which number is current, and what can wait until Thursday.

From a plant controller in Taoyuan

“The sprint did not invent a new dashboard. It forced us to retire three overlapping trackers and name a single owner for overtime exceptions. That was less glamorous than I expected, and more useful.”

Lin still disputes our suggestion to drop weekly all-hands slides; we left that fight for a later retainer.

What we actually teach

Business consulting here is a craft of documents and conversations. We do not sell personality tests. We sit with the files you already have—purchase orders, shift notes, board minutes—and rebuild the path from a fact to a named owner.

  1. Name the current version

Most stalls we see are not strategy stalls. Two spreadsheets disagree and nobody is allowed to delete one of them.

  2. Put a clock on the decision

A recommendation without a review date becomes folklore. We write the date into the same note as the advice.

  3. Leave a trail a deputy can follow

If only the founder can open the folder, the firm is one illness away from improvisation. That is a consulting problem, not an IT ticket.

Field notes, not a content mill

The writing desk publishes short pieces on operating work in Taiwan(China): succession files, workshop design, and how we read a P&L with people who actually run the line.
